About Us

Re-Discover ME was unofficially created in 2016 after realizing there was an unanswered need in the world. The founder along with others recognized that there is a certain degree that a woman loses her identity after she becomes affected by abuse, trauma, and other mental health topics. They came together to consider the intersectional factors that go into meeting the needs of these women and began providing services to Engage, Educate, & Inspire Change in these women to RE-Discover their true worth and value through "Mental Elevation". A term the organization has coined to describe the services provided.

In January 2020, the organization's programs were improved and expanded upon even more and the name was changed to reflect this movement in fullness. Our organization is now known as Re-Discover ME Women's Initiative.
